 Award for “Excellence in Electronic Archiving”:
 The PPA was awarded the "Excellence in Electronic Archiving" award by the Middle East Excellence Award Institute for its pioneering experience in the application of an electronic archiving system based on IBM-FileNet technology. This distinguished honor was bestowed on the sidelines of the 19th Conference on Government and e-Services held May 18-22, 2013 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel - Dubai International Financial Center, United Arab Emirates. The PPA was represented by a delegation led by Mr. Sami Al Gamaz, Information Center Director, who received the award from HE Dr. Ahmed Saeed Bin Hazeem, Director General of Dubai Courts. The delegation also included Mr. Khaled Alsobai and Mr. Naif Alsaed.
International Social Security Society Certificates of Appreciation:
The PPA received three certificates of appreciation from the “International Social Security Society” for programs in the areas of risk management applications, Complaints and Reporting System (CRM), and the Advanced Protection System (BOOLE SERVER). The certificates were given during the PPA’s participation in the “Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific” October 30-November 01, 2012 in Seoul, South Korea. The International Social Security Society is one of the most prominent international organizations working to promote social security around the world to improve social and economic conditions of populations on the basis of social justice.
Middle East Institute of Excellence Award:
The PPA portal was awarded the Middle East Institute of Excellence Award for best online portal during its participation in the 18th GCC Conference for Government and e-Services May 19-23, 2012, in the United Arab Emirates. The event was attended by more than 100 government, regional, and international institutions and organizations. Participants included elite international experts in the field of information technology and electronic solutions. Awards are evaluated based on research and field studies conducted by the Middle East Institute in government and private institutions to uncover the best technological and intellectual achievements based on the latest information available.
"TIER III" Certificate from Up Time International Institute:
 The PPA aims for excellence in its programming and modus operandi which makes it the focus of attention of international institutions and organizations. Among the institutions that recently applauded the PPA’s programs and operations is Uptime Institute, a U.S. institute specialized in the study and evaluation of global data centers. It announced awarding the PPA its Tier III Certificate for International Data Center Design in recognition of the PPA’s new data center design. The PPA is the first Saudi government agency in the Kingdom to receive this type of certificate in the implementation and design of data centers.
Symantec’s Global Website Publishes the PPA’s Success Story:
Symantec, one of the world's leading IT companies, published on its website the PPA’s success story in the field of information technology, especially backup using the NetBackup Appliances system. The PPA is the only agency in the Middle East that uses this application. The system backs up all PPA data and systems in a unique and effective manner while eliminating duplicate data during the copying process, which produces high accuracy in the backup process and protects saved data from damage.
ISO 27001: 2005 International Certification in Information Security:
The PPA was awarded the ISO 27001: 2005 Certification for Information Security in recognition of its commitment to achieving the best level of infrastructure and information security through the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on the International Standards Document. This certificate is an indication of the PPA’s complete commitment to the protection of its database and of information on subscribers, retirees, and related transactions.
Tier III Constructed Facility Certificate:

The PPA obtained a Tier III Constructed Facility Certificate, a certificate for the execution of information centers. It is the first Saudi government agency to receive this certificate from Uptime, a U.S. institute specialized in the study and evaluation of global data centers. The certificate was awarded for the PPA’s execution of its new data center, which constituted a paradigm shift in raising the standards of design, systems infrastructure, and the development database usage and protection and mechanisms based the concepts of business continuity. The new center guarantees the efficiency and quality of services provided by the agency upto 99.98% .
Oracle Award for Electronic Applications:
The PPA received an award from Saudi Oracle in recognition of its unique leadership in using Oracle Identity and Access Management successfully in mid-2015. The project had a great effect on managing employee accounts and their access levels to the agency’s central systems through the application of best information security practices ISO 27001. The certificate was handed to the Assistant Governor for Supporting Services and Information Mr. Fahd bin Abdullah Saleh upon receiving the Executive Director of Saudi Oracle Engineer Thamer Al-Harbi along with company officials in his office.
PPA Receives Achievement Award (e-Community Participation):
In a remarkable accomplishment, the PPA received the e-Government Achievement Award in its fourth iteration for e-community participation amid stiff competition with government and others agencies. The award recognizes the PPA’s pioneering experience in the implementation of Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems and the paradigm shift that system created in customer service by building an integrated electronic system focused on receiving retirees' inquiries and processing them in a professional and transparent manner.
Two international certificates from the International Social Security Association (ISSA):
The PPA received a certificate of appreciation from the International Social Security Association (ISSA) for its pioneering experience in establishing an office for institutional structure. This office aims to link the strategies of the organization and the business sector to an IT environment through a digital transformation plan that supports the PPA’s 2022 strategic plan. The PPA also received another certificate of appreciation in the field of governance for its success in applying an effective model of government in line with best international standards. The award was part of the Asia Pacific Regional Social Security Forum held October 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Medina Award for Distinguished Government Performance:
The PPA won 3rd place “Bronze Award” for excellence in achieving beneficiary satisfaction at the Medina Competition for Excellence in Government Performance in its 5th iteration.
