Pension Systems   
Civil System
Civil employee has the right to receive a pension in the following cases:

1- Reaching 60 years old
2- The settlement of deceased pension or dismissed due to inability to perform work is calculated as 40% of last salary or on the base of accumulated service whichever is larger.
3- The settlement of deceased pension (due to reasons related to work) or medical invalidity is calculated as 80% of last salary or on the base of accumulated service whichever is larger.
4- End of service for any reason with 25 years of service
5- End of service due to cancellation of job, dismissal by cabinet decision or Royal Decree with no disciplinary action receives a pension if he has at least 15 years of service
6- Civil employee who asks for early retirement with no less than 20 years of service provided he present the agreement of employer

The settlement of retirement pension is calculated as 1/40 increment of last salary as the following:
Last basic salary × # of years of service/ 40


Lump sum:

Lump sum is settled for once as the following:
1- Less than 10 years of service:
Basic salary×12 ×10%× # of years of service
2- More than 10 years of service but less than 25:
Basic salary×12 ×11%× # of years of service
3- Female employees who resigned for marriage:
Basic salary×12 ×11%× # of years of service unless she is entitled to a pension
4- Less than 15 years of service ended due to cancellation of job, dismissal by cabinet decision or Royal Decree
Basic salary×12 ×14%× # of years of service
