    It shall have no effect as the civil pension scheme gave the employed woman the right to receive a retirement pension if her husband is an employee or a retiree.

  • Who are the beneficiaries of a pensioner?

    Spouse – son – daughter (son / daughter) of the son who died during the lifetime of the pensioner – mother – father – grandfather – grandmother – brother – sister; noting that except for the wife, son and daughter, a beneficiary shall prove that it was dependent on the pensioner in the pensioner’s lifetime. Pension shall continue being paid to females unless they are employed or get married and for males unless one of them is employed in a job fixed to a rank in the state budget. Pension shall be stopped for males when any of them reaches twenty one years old unless such beneficiary is a student in which case, pension shall continue until study completion or reaching twenty six years old, whichever is closer. Pension shall also continue for a sick or disabled beneficiary until recovery. In case of the divorce of a female beneficiary, she will re - obtain her share in pension. Moreover, a married female beneficiary shall obtain her share in pension in case she is widowed.

  • Is it allowed to appoint a person to receive the pension dues?

    It is allowed to appoint another person to receive the dues under a legal power of attorney (POA) stipulating to authorize the representative to receive a beneficiary’s rights from the PPA.

  • How long is the duration of POA?

    uch POA shall be valid for five years as of the issuance date thereof and shall be renewed every five years.​

    Yes, a person may be an agent for more than one beneficiary subject to the availability of the POA conditions.
