 PPA was established under the name of the "Pension Benefits Authority" in 1378H corresponding to 1958G, under Article 8 of the pension system issued in the same year. In the year 1423 AH, the Council of Ministers issued Resolution No. 277 to transfer "Pension Benefits Authority" to public Agency with legal personality and independent budget that enjoys administrative and financial independence with the name "Public Pension Agency".
 

 PPA provides many services to its clients. It disburses pensions to pensioners for civil employee and military personnel who have referred to retirement. The monthly pensions are also paid to the beneficiaries of the deceased pensioner's family.

 

 PPA has been keen to manage and develop its financial resources and to preserve them from any economic changes by adopting the best investment solutions and adopting a flexible methodology and strategy. It has also established the "Alraidah Investment Company", the investment arm of PPA, to locally and internationally manage and maximize its investments.

 

 Regarding the services offered to pensioners and beneficiaries, PPA has been keen to extend its services to cover all regions of the Kingdom through 51 branch and office providing many services as well as providing a comprehensive website and smart phones app. 

 

 PPA has launched a number of programs aimed at providing the highest levels of service to its customers and providing them with a decent life, including Discounts and Offers, experience program and Masaken, which offers the opportunity to own land or property with facilitated terms and conditions.

 

 In line with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, the Public Pension Agency has launched the "2020 Strategy", which aims to provide distinguished services to pensioners and subscribers, build high capabilities in investment, risk management, enhancing pension schemes and strengthen governance
